What is Ancient Bison?
Ancient Bison move with migration zones in maternal bands and bachelor herds on the official natural-history note. In game they herd, graze, joust for rank, charge at full speed, and headbutt at short range. They get a quick turn while running. Y challenges another player to a duel, and winning one is a bison-only Track mission. The charge is much weaker if you are alone in broken terrain.

How do you get Ancient Bison?
Unlock the badge by marking a predator. The animal guide says to do that as a Western Horse. Read settings for the mark key. New players default to Q after the January 23, 2026 note.
How do you use Ancient Bison?
Stay with the herd on open ground. Use the charge at full speed and the headbutt when something is already in front of you. Duel other bison with Y when you want the duel mission or herd rank. Do not expect flee-mode speed to match a horse.
